This Friday is Heber's International Evening, a celebration of international cuisine where we ask parents and carers to prepare a dish that represents a country. It could be the country where you born or a place that you love visiting.
After school on Friday we'll see parents, carers and children celebrating the culture of many different countries and you are encouraged to wear international costumes.
If you or your child would like to perform a song, a story or a dance we'd love to hear from you.
If you don't have enough time to make an actual dish we are gathering recipes that we will sell on the night with the proceeds going to the school. Bring it along on the night or send it in advance to Sarah.
If you have any of the following we'd love it if you could let us borrow it: flags, bunting, tablecloths, maps and globes for decoration. And serving utensils and hot plates for the food. Please could you label them with your child's name and class, and leave them in the office?
If you are able to volunteer on the evening please contact Sarah.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday!
